Wireless Robotics

YUPS Tech Solutions, in association with Nirmala Memorial Foundation College Kandivali ( E ) had organized a two day workshop on Wireless Robotics, on Friday17th and Saturday 18th of February 2012.

In the workshop students understood the connections for wireless circuit on printed circuit board.

Made a new robot based of Infrared Communication, the robot works depending to input from the Infrared LED.

The IR based Robots are just a practical demonstration of T.V. Remote Control System.

The Application of Rf Ed IR Communication range in verious categories like, Medical electronics, Military & Security.

Practical approach helps students to study the applications of whatever they have learnt. It will help in developing their own Indigenous Technology.

YUPS Tech Solutions in association with B.Sc. I.T.  Department of Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science, Kandivali (East) is organizing a two day workshop on “Wireless Robotics” on 17th and 18th Feb-2012, for 4 Hrs. each day. Students of F.Y. / S.Y. / T.Y. B.Sc. I.T., C.S., B.M.S., B.A.F. and B.Com. are invited for the same. Limited seats are available.

Students interested in participating in the workshop need to register their names with their respective mentor professors, with the registration fees of Rs. 700/- (for nirmala college students ) and Rs. 850 (for Outsiders) by 16^th Feb 2012, Thursday.

Degree College celebrated its ‘Rose Day’ and ‘Traditional Day’ on 1^st February 2012. On this day Personality Contest was held for the students where the participating students competed for the title of Mr. Nirmala and Ms. Nirmala. The judges for the personality contest were Prof. H.K.P. Singh, Prof. Monica John and Prof. Bijal Shah. The contest had three rounds:

First was introduction round where the students introduced themselves in their own way.

Five pairs were selected to move to the second round where each student could present a talent of their choice.

Three pairs were selected for the third round which was question answer round where the judges asked questions of their own choice to the students.

The winners of the personality contest were:

Nirmala’s Got Talent 

N.M.F.C conducted the final cultural event of the academic year, “NIRMALA’S GOT TALENT” on 27th Jan 2012. 

There was a huge round of applause as our F.Y.J.C. students mesmerised all the spectators in the auditorium with their unique talent that involved an amalgamation of visual and performing arts like Magic Show, Solo Dancing, Group Dancing, Singing, Mehandi, Sketching, Rubik’s Cube Solving etc. The different dance forms such as Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Popping & Locking, Fusion dance, Bollywood, Lavni dancing etc. were presented. 

The dignitaries for the day were Ms. Sylvia Fernandes. ( Principal of Junior College ) Ms. Shashikala Yadav ( Vice Principal of Junior College ) Mr. Jignesh Dalal ( Incharge of Commerce Dept. ) 

The Judges for the event were Mr. Verma, Ms. Sonal, Ms. Shumailya.

The united endeavour of Cultural Committee, Discipline Committee and also the hard work of the students made this event a grand success. 

The show wouldn’t have been possible without the constant support of our Principal and the Management. 

It was indeed a perfect way to wind up the extra curricular activities of this academic year 2011 – 2012.

* Students are requested to report in the college AUDITORIUM for the seminar 10 minutes prior of the scheduled time. Attendance is compulsory.

Introductory Seminar on Robotics was conducted by YUPS Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. on 17 December 2011. The main speaker of the seminar was Mr. Umesh Rathod.

Students were informed to the potential of future technologies and skills that will enable them to adapt to using and working with technologies.

2011 – 2012

Nirmala Memorial Foundation College Celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 10th December 2011 at S.A.I. Ground, Kandivali. The event saw students participating in large numbers and displaying true sportsman spirit.
