One of the most impressive and influential couples in 19th century France was Louis XVI Saint. ormolu and Baccarat crystal sconces. Each six-armed candle holder features an unusually cut and highly decorative Baccarat crystal pendant set amidst a beautiful sparkling crystal wreath. The back plate shows an unusual large-scale barred foliage design with a prominent central rosette from which the arm branches emerge. The arms are spread over three decorative tiers and feature a gracefully curved design between straight arms each decorated with graceful acanthus petals leading to beaded bobaches and charming candle bowls.

Rare and beautiful pendant by Hetier et Vincent. Original French Art Deco pendant fixture from the 1930s, beautiful bowl in nickel plated bronze or solid brass made by Baccarat for H&V. There is a famous crystal factory in France that also produces some lampshades. It is made of crystal, made opaque with acid and highlighted with polished transparent shiny parts. It is signed Hettier et Vincent France.
Baccarat Designer Crystal Chandeliers, Table Lamps & Sconces
Hetier & Vincent is a well-known French lighting company that produces high-quality products. Wholesaler and retailer with its shop on the prestigious and elegant Place des Vosges in Paris. A pendant with a similar bowl is shown on page 122 in the first appendix of the Hetier Vincent catalogue. The same catalog also shows the H&V roof (see image). The catalog is of course not part of this sale.
The chandelier is in excellent condition. I have re-nickeled and installed the patent. The diameter of the Baccarat bowl is 30 cm (11-13/16″). The height of the chandelier is 46.5 cm (18-5/16″). The pendant is recessed and has a standard American socket. For European countries I would install E27.
