Dafabet Mirror – Snooker fans flock to London for the prestigious Masters tournament, where 16 of the world’s best players compete for big money.
The Masters, one of snooker’s most spectacular tournaments, returns to London with a £200,000 prize awaiting the winner.

The invitational tournament will see the top 16 players face off at Alexandra Palace, where the event has been held since 2012, with the final taking place on Sunday 20 January.

Since its inception in 1975, the Masters has established itself as one of snooker’s Triple Crown competitions, encompassing the British and World Championships.
Reigning champion Mark Allen beat Kieren Wilson 10-7 in last year’s final, while Ronnie O’Sullivan won three of the previous four tournaments in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
The first round draw for the Dafabet-sponsored 2019 Masters took place in December, with eight matches played over four days.
Allen begins his title defense against Luca Bresel on Sunday, while Wilson, last year’s runner-up, faces Jude Trump on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, O’Sullivan and Stuart Bingham face off on Monday, while 2015 champion Shaun Murphy takes on Barry Hawkins on Tuesday night.
Matches are played over the best of 11 frames, while finals are played over the best of 19 frames. Snooker fans can watch live coverage of the event broadcast on the BBC and Eurosport from 13 to 20 January.
