Half-brothers Dragon (Donnie Yin) and Tiger Wong (Nicholas Tese) are complete strangers. The dragon works with gangs, and the tiger is as straight as an arrow. Dragon Tiger Gate is an academy founded by two powerful martial artists. The academy aims to train students in martial arts to serve justice and fight the triple threat. The university is a shelter for orphans.
The story begins with Wong, one of the founders of the university, who has two children, each born to a different mother. The elder is called the Dragon and the younger the Tiger. When the children were young, Dragon’s mother left the academy and gave Dragon half of the jade amulet, telling him that his half-brother Tiger had the other half. When Dragoni’s mother is killed in a fire, Dragoni is taken into the care of the Triad chief, Ma Kun, and grows up to be her guardian. Ma Kun’s group is the subject of the evil Luocha cult.

Many years later, Tiger and his friends were eating at a restaurant and found Ma Kun and his men collecting the Luocha Plaque. The tablets are symbols of authority in the Luocha cult and indicate that the bearer is second only to Shibumi, the leader of the cult. Ma Kun and the leader of the white lions were arguing over the plaster when the tiger suddenly interrupted the meeting. When Tiger starts fighting with the gangsters, one of Tiger’s friends is killed with a can. At this point, Dragon appears and fights Tiger, who he doesn’t know is his half-brother. Don’t charge the dragon call and pull it back.
That night, Dragon confronts Tiger and his friends in front of a Japanese restaurant to retrieve the tiger. Tiger and his friends are drugged by Scully, another of Ma Coon’s henchmen, who wants to bring the script to show the boss that he’s the best man. Dragon and Turbo defeat Scully and the humans and Dragon take the patch from Tiger. At that moment, the Tiger Dragon discovers that the other half of the Amulet amulet has been removed, and the Dragon realizes that it is actually his half-brother.
Turbo follows Tiger back to the Tiger Dragon Gate to improve his martial arts skills. Professor Wong, the current director of the university, wrote for his pride. Frustrated, Turbo stands outside the academy and vows not to leave until he is accepted as a student. Master Wong agrees to deal with Turbo and easily defeats Turbo. Turbo is humbled and accepted as a student by Master Wong.
Meanwhile, Ma Kun returns Luocha’s plaque to mark his retirement. He is supported by a dragon who wants to return to the Dragon Tiger Gate and his daughter Ma Xiaoling who wants an easy life. Shibumi sees this as an insult and sends his servants to kill the two devils, Ma Kun. He uses his subordinate Lusha to attract the dragon, while his servants kill Ma Kun. Dragon returns to save Ma Kun but is too late. Dragon kills the two devils after a grueling battle and leaves Ma Xiaoling in her brother’s care before leaving.

The dragon is impressed by Shibumi defeating his henchmen and issues a challenge to the dragon tiger gate. In Dragon’s absence, Master Wong, Tiger, and Turbo face Shibumi’s challenge but are utterly defeated. Tiger and Turbo are seriously injured when Master Wong is killed by Shibumi. Ma Xiaoling brings Tiger and Turbo to Baiyun Mountain to seek help from Master Qi. Master Qi heals the wounded Tiger and Turbo, and teaches them new fighting techniques to fight the Shibumi.
Tiger and Turbo enter Shibumi’s Black Pagoda to stop him from doing evil once and for all. Although their martial arts skills had greatly improved since the last time they fought, they were still no match for Shibumi. At the crucial moment, the dragon appeared and fought Shibumi, eventually killing him with his Eighteen Dragon Mastery technique. Before the movie ends, Dragon returns to Tiger Gate and Turbo (who decides to change his name to Tiger) to continue Master Wong’s legacy.
