If you can’t find a patty, you can easily substitute it with roll wrappers, wonton wrappers, phyllo dough, or noodles.

Spice Powders – You will need some basic spices like coriander powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder and garam masala powder.
Fresh Herbs – I like to flavor the filling with fresh herbs like fresh mint, scallions (scallion greens) and cilantro (fresh coriander leaves).
Flour – A mixture of all purpose flour (maida) and water is made to act as a glue to seal the samosas.
Other – You will also need oil, onion, ginger garlic paste, green chillies and fresh lemon juice to make this mutton keema samosa recipe.

When oil is hot, add 1 cup chopped onion and cook until translucent (6-8 minutes), stirring frequently.
Add 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste and 2 teaspoons chopped green chilies and cook for a minute. Stir frequently while frying.
Note – If you use bones, you don’t need to rinse it, but if you use ground meat fresh from the butcher, add it to the filter and rinse it under running water. Drain well and then use in the recipe.
Cover the pot with a lid and cook until the kema is well cooked (15-18 minutes), stirring several times.
