Asia Cup 2023: The 16th edition of the Asia Cup will begin on August 30 and will be jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The Asian cricket tournament traces its origins back to 1984 in the ODI format. This edition will be played in Inan ODI (50 overs) format. A total of six teams will participate. Groups are divided into two groups.

The fifth match was played on August 4 between India and Nepal at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka. Nepal suffered a humiliating defeat against India as they lost the match by 10 runs.

The tournament began on August 30, with two groups of three playing each other in a round-robin format. The top 2 teams in each group qualify for the Super Four and play another round. The two top teams from the Super Four will play in the final in Colombo on September 17.

This cricket match is hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The tournament will be played at four venues in Multan and Lahore in Pakistan and Kandy and Colombo in Sri Lanka.

The group stage of the tournament will be played from August 30 to September 5. Three of these games will be played in Pakistan and the rest in Sri Lanka.
