The 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is the eighth edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. It was held in South Africa between 10 February and 26 February 2023.

Women’s U19 Cricket World Cup 2023 Schedule

South Africa automatically qualified for the tournament as hosts. As of 30 November 2021, they joined the top-ranked Sev teams in the ICC Women’s T20I rankings to participate in the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

Each team selected a squad of 15 players before the tournament and was able to replace injured players.

In August 2022, the ICC announced that three venues in three cities would host the tournament. Venues include Newlands Cricket Ground, St George’s Park and Boland Park.

On 27 January 2023, the ICC appointed an all-female panel of match officials for the tournament. Apart from tea umpires, GS Lakshmi, Shindri Fritz and Mitchell Perera were also appointed as match referees.
