India’s bowling attack was completely unimpressive during the Lucknow ODI, with David Miller once again, along with Heinrich Klassen this time, acting as their nemesis in the T20I series. The batting department, meanwhile, seemed to struggle against a quality Proteas pace attack with the new ball, which was one of the main reasons behind India’s defeat on Thursday.
For South Africa, captain Temba Bavuma’s form continues to be a cause for concern, while left-arm spinner Tabraiz Shamsi will look to put aside his poor returns against India across formats in the last two ODIs.
It is a relief for the spectators that there has been no rain in the city of Ranchi for the past two days, after seeing the same phenomenon continuously for the past week.
However, patches of dark clouds covered the sky for most of Saturday, although the sun did make an appearance throughout the afternoon.

On Sunday, the sun will appear again, but dark clouds full of rain may cause short periods of heavy rain during the day, which may stop the process, especially during the first fall.
Rain is expected around 11:00 AM (51% chance), and then around 2:00 PM (51% chance), but it may not return continuously, causing the number of Overs to drop, as was the case in Lucknow.
