SPL Cricket 2022 – The third season of the Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) will begin on August 23. The last two seasons have given us some exciting action. The league is getting bigger every year and we expect the same to happen next season.
The SPL is a tournament consisting of 5 tournaments played in a Round Robin format. All matches were played at the Kandheri Stadium in Rajkot. franchises – Halar Heroes; Zalawad Royals Gohilwad Gladiators Kutch Warriors vs Sorath Lions – One after ten matches. At the end of the league, the two teams will compete for the trophy in the final.

The Young Lions’ back line was strong again and opened the scoring in the opening minutes of the game. Charging down the left wing, Zulqarnaen won the ball from Syahrul Sazali and slotted past Zharfan Rohaizad to give the Young Lions the lead. Many expected him to light up the tournament given his pedigree and were surprised when he failed to score. The Lion City Sailors finally seem to be getting their act together and the giant Korean international can be expected to score more goals.
