World Cup Matches 2023 Cricket – The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 draw list for India has been released along with the 10 venues for the 46-day mega event later this year.
The World Cup begins on October 5 with a repeat of the 2019 final as England take on New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The much-awaited India-Pakistan clash is scheduled for Saturday, October 14, in Ahmedabad. Their last match of the 2019 World Cup was a high-scoring match as India won in Manchester.
Pakistan will play against Australia in Bengaluru on October 20, while England will face South Africa the next day in Mumbai.
India will take on New Zealand to avenge their defeat in the 2019 semi-final on October 22 at the beautiful Dharamsala venue while Australia will play arch-rivals England on November 4 in Will Ahmedabad. The champions beat the Austrians to reach the final four years ago.
India will host England on October 29 in Lucknow, who they beat in the semi-finals of the 2022 T20 World Cup only last year.

Each match will be high stakes, with the teams vying for two points in the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India which gives them nine guaranteed matches in international cricket’s ODI showpiece.
The 10 teams participating in the qualifiers have been divided into two groups of five teams each. The hosts Zimbabwe, West Indies, Netherlands, Nepal and the United States are in Group A, while Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and the United Arab Emirates are in Group B.
Each team will play the other teams in their group once with the top three teams from each group advancing to the Super Six stage. In the Super Six, they will play against the teams they did not meet in the group stage.
All points from the Group Stage will be carried over to the Super Six stage, except for those from the teams that failed to progress to the Super Six stage. The final two teams will advance to the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

The Super Six stage will begin on June 29, while the bottom two teams from each group will compete in the playoffs.
